Trying to decide between this program and Harvard CSE (Still haven't heard back from MIT, so I'm assuming a rejection). Any suggestion? And does anyone know what's the approximate class size is for this program?

Very late decision given that my application was submitted by the priority deadline. Students who decide attend the program have to pay a 4000$ deposit within 6 days. The open house is only for those who have accepted the offer and paid the deposit. Very disappointed by Columbia, attending another university.

Rejected from MS Computer Science last year. Made it into MS&E this year - and it's a much better fit too. No financial aid for MS students (as expected).

Master Of Science

A Master of Science (Latin: Magister Scientiae; abbreviated MS, M.S., MSc, M.Sc., SM, S.M., ScM or Sc.M.) is a master's degree in the field of science awarded by universities in many countries or a person holding such a degree. In contrast to the Master of Arts degree, the Master of Science degree is typically granted for studies in sciences, engineering and medicine and is usually for programs that are more focused on scientific and mathematical subjects; however, different universities have different conventions and may also offer the degree for fields typically considered within the humanities and social sciences. While it ultimately depends upon the specific program, earning a Master of Science degree typically includes writing a thesis.

Graduate Record Examination

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is globally accepted for admissions to graduate and PhD programs. GRE scores are used for cutoffs only. A good GRE score will not guarantee admission to top colleges, but a low GRE score can definitely disqualify you from considering your application.
